1. It’s an annual family tradition.
You have fond memories of visiting the park as a child and now your holidays just aren’t the same without a trip to “SEF” (Santa’s Enchanted Forest). First, you brought your significant other and now your own children.
2. You are filled with anticipation for this year’s light show.
A recent Facebook post asked what music you would like to see in the show featuring South Florida’s Tallest Christmas tree. A million ideas came to your mind – we hope you shared them with us – and you can’t wait to see the finished product.
3. Your ears perk up when someone mentions the word “Elf” in October.
You started looking for the Early Elf deal in the middle of July, scouring Facebook posts and santasenchantedforest.com to make sure you don’t miss out on a great bargain for season passes!
4. You have a plan as soon as you walk through the gates.
You’ve figured out how to maximize your time in the park. From what day of the week you come to the Express Passes you’ve nabbed on busier nights, you know exactly what to do!
5. Your holiday cards feature at least one family picture taken at Santa’s.
If not an entire collage. There’s the dazzling tree, the millions of Christmas lights, that ginormous Ferris Wheel, holiday displays and of course, Santa himself. It’s so much fun to look back and see how your family and children have grown each year.
6. The Fearless Flores family always makes you gasp with delight.
The entire Flores family — even the kids — circle the Motorcycle Globe of Death. You immediately check the showtimes at the beginning of each season to make sure you don’t miss their daredevil antics.
7. You have ridden the Crazy Mouse and Windstorm so many times you’ve lost count!
The coasters are your first stop when you get to the carnival attractions. Or maybe your thrill is the carousel with your family – everyone has their own favorite ride.
8. The return of the Sky-High Ferris Wheel has you squealing with delight.
Ready to see all of South Florida from a bird’s eye view? Hoping to get even more Instagram posts of those lights? Time to perfect your selfie pose in front of and atop the ride.
9. Fried Oreos, people!
At the end of October, your mouth is already watering for fresh squeezed lemonade, elephant ears, churros, and chocolate-covered strawberries. You also know exactly where to find the steak and chicken fajitas that leave room in your diet for carnival delicacies like cotton candy and fresh hot donuts.
10. You’ve been practicing your aim.
This will be the year you dunk Scrooge on the first try and that insult clown … well, he’s going down, too!
11. Mistletoe Lane holds fond memories.
Maybe you had your first kiss there, witnessed a marriage proposal or simply shared a holiday moment with one of your favorite people. The thought of the gazebo on Mistletoe Lane makes you smile.
12. You know every word to the jingle.
“Santa’s Enchanted Forest. Come to see the lights at the wonderful Santa’s Enchanted Forest …” Don’t stop now. Keep singing! (Click to play SEF theme song). Just so you know, we’re totally open to seeing a flash mob version at the park, so hum along and come one down to Tropical Park at Palmetto and Bird Road. We look forward to seeing you there!
So, how many signs did you answer: “that’s me”? If you identified with six or more of the signs above, we think you are a SEF Superfan! 🙂
